Plain English on purpose. This page explains what Datamartics collects, how it is stored, and what to do if you want it deleted.

What we collect

We collect the information needed to run the service: your phone number, your name if you provide it, your business type, the messages you send to Datamartics, and payment records related to your subscription.

We do not ask for extra personal information just because it might be useful someday.

How your data is stored

Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256. Each user account is stored with its own unique encryption key.

Your records are not sitting around in plain text waiting for trouble.

Who can see the data

Nobody at Datamartics is reading your message content as part of normal operations. Message content is processed so the service can produce your reports.

Internal analytics are limited to metadata needed to keep the system healthy and improve performance. We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

How long we keep it

Your data is retained while your account is active. If you want it deleted, you can ask at any time.

After a valid deletion request, your account enters a 7-day window before permanent deletion. That buffer is there in case you change your mind or made the request by mistake.

How to delete your data

Text delete my data to the Datamartics WhatsApp number. We will confirm the request and begin the 7-day deletion window. After seven days, all data is permanently deleted — messages, reports, payments, metadata, encryption keys, phone number. A final confirmation is sent.

If you text back within those seven days, deletion is cancelled and your account is restored.

Legal compliance

Datamartics complies with the Kenya Data Protection Act, 2019 and is registered as a Data Controller with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).
